JMG welcomes Oscar Cantu as the firm’s Chief Client Solutions Officer. Oscar was a JMG client before he decided to seek a position on the other side of the desk. He brings decades of financial consulting and business development experience to JMG. Oscar supports his colleagues and collaborates with JMG’s financial industry partners to help clients achieve their goals.

JMG helped sponsor the JDRF “Illinois One Dream Gala” on Dec. 14 at McCormick Place. JMG Principal Matt Grubb, (center, standing) is a member of the JDRF Illinois Board of Directors. JDRF funds Type 1 diabetes research and advocates policies that accelerate access to new therapies. This year’s gala smashed the old fundraising goal by generating a record $7 million!

In November, JMG held a “Hope & Handbags” event where the firm learned about the importance of understanding and communicating positive body image to young people in today’s challenging social media environment. JMG filled donated purses with needed toiletries. Thanks to JMG’s clients and business partners, the firm delivered more than 30 filled handbags to the Hesed House in Aurora. Women who need a fresh start in their lives will receive the purses.
