JMG Announces Support for Cal’s Angels
As we approach the end of yet, another eventful year, we hope this message finds you and your families safe and healthy either at home or in your travels.
Since 2020, our firm has decided to make a meaningful donation to a charitable organization at the recommendation of our employees. Each employee has the opportunity to submit a recommendation to an organization that may have personal meaning to them.
After evaluating all the submissions, we are pleased to inform you that this year’s contribution will go to Cal’s Angels.
Cal’s Angels was founded in April 2007 and named after 12-year old Little League All-Star Cal Sutter who lost his battle with leukemia in August of 2006. His courage to fight his illness as well as his concern for other kids fighting cancer, served as the inspiration to found Cal’s Angels. Their mission is to grant wishes, raise awareness and fund research to help kids who are fighting cancer. Cal’s Law was officially signed by Governor Pritzker in August 2021 which will ensure that kids with cancer have access to comprehensive testing that could help save their lives. Cal’s Angels will continue to make this a priority in every state going forward.
The connection to this organization is with one of our own employees whose daughter’s best friend lost her battle with brain cancer earlier this year. Our colleague saw firsthand how supportive and impactful the team at Cal’s Angels was to the family in need. And while we know there are many organizations that support funding for pediatric cancer, it is always heartwarming when the organization is local to our headquarters here in Downers Grove.
We know that our contribution will have a direct impact on these children and their families. You can visit their website and learn more here: Cal’s Angels (calsangels.org)
Thank you for your ongoing trust and support. Our firm continues to grow in many ways and we know that you are the primary driver of our growth.
May the New Year bring peace and prosperity to all!
With warmest regards,
Anthony D. Cecchini
